It’s quasi-monthly poll time, and as the topic says the question is simple: how do you access the content of this site? Are you old fashioned like me, stubbornly refusing to use a feed reader or aggregator and relying instead on the magic of F5? Or do you glory in the brave new world of content serialization? Or perhaps you are like the customer in Monty Python’s bookshop sketch? Inquiring minds want to know… (no more)
???????????????huh
i view site directly but via google reader. google reader has a great feature – button “Next”; you subscribe to some feeds and then just click “Next” (button on your browser panel) and go to the next unread entry in your as they call it “river of news”… so you do your reading in the author’s context (“view site directly”) but it’s via google reader nevertheless.
I view the site through the admin posters panel – what, do you think I read this crap? I’m only concerned at how many hits my articles get so I can put the numbers together to get venture capital funding for Shipon Democracy!
I’m here for the psuedo pvc porn…..isn’t everybody??
and I Google you throught the internets since you guys stop doing this by skywriting you cheap bastards!!
>:)
>>minus-one
That sounds like a neat compromise, I may have to check it out. What won’t those guys at Google think of next…
>>Shipon
WHAT?! How could you so thoughtlessly betray my trust and that of the readers?! THAT’S IT, you’re FIRED. And your little dog too. Oot the door with ye! And don’t let it hit your hinder as you think of an exit strategy! >:O
>>Work_Ethic
You Google HD for every post? Skywriting? :O There must be another layer to these internets that I’m missing…
I just view it manually orz
>>Shingo
Does this mean I don’t get my December bonus then?
XD
>>Shipon
Yes, I’ll be withholding the two yen and piece of pocket lint I found under my futon the other day. >:(
HD is permanently bookmarked in my favorites! HD rulez!
RSS for life.
Ok, I’ll admit, John Cleese lives with me :(
Is it a sin not to know who the hell is John Cleese? :3
Anyway, through aggregators, though also through the direct URL sometimes.
Yeah, I vote for the lazy too…,
Google RSS ftw, especially when its connected to my iGoogle account which acts as my homepage so I can literally see any new HD post the moment I open up my browser window =3!
i view the site directly
Another one in the Google Reader side. It’s the best to keep track of interesting sites with interesting news … and do not die while trying :D
I use Bloglines to read the RSS. (I think Bloglines is far far better than Google Reader)
Just good old fashioned “typing heiseidemocracy.com and reading it.” RSS? Bloglines? Content serialization? What language is this?
Same way as “Misuzu”, I read the RSS feed in the main tab of my iGoogle webpage.
Bookmarked and animenano. I’m old fashioned ^^;;
I’m an RSS man.
