My pleasure! The Odin Sphere book is by circle Doku Pepper, a favorite of mine. :3

Thanks for the report! I see a highly interesting Odin Sphere ero-doujinshi in your loot picture, under "Nippon We Like These". Who was the circle?

It is has always been my perception that the how the public views adult content has been to an extent more tolerant (perhaps that should be read as ignored?) here than back home in the States and that is why such...gratuitous displays at Comiket aren't that weird. Hence, I am surprised about this whole bit about even printing companies getting antsy about people following the rules. Learn something new every time I come to Comiket.

Shingo, it was certainly enjoyable hanging out with you and other HD readers/staff for the event. I'm hoping to make it for the winter event so I'm sure there will be more chaos in store. That and I am very curious about your Comiket application. Do keep us all informed of how that goes. :D

Rich, you know you want to come back to the Comiket. At the very least, Andrew and I will bankrupt you with the stuff we brought back. ^^

Heeej Shingo,
see you bought the one and only funny English course (Ero Crown). Wondering about that. How many pages has it got? About the "stricter printing rules": hope you keep fighting against them otherwise you end up like Vatican City ;). Still...you get away with more than 99% of the rest of the world! And LETS KEEP IT THAT WAY!

>>Richard "Pocky" Kim
I hope you get the chance to come back soon! I'd offer you a place to stay but I don't think anyone would want to bunk in Gunma for a Comiket trip... ^^;;

お疲れ様！

Good report, as always. After reading your report, and Shipon's, and talking to the HDN guys, I always have this urge to go back to Japan and hit the events again.

Then I remember I have bills to pay. OTL

However, I will go back some day. It calls to me. That, and I really should say hi to some of the staff that may still be there. >.>

From a glance at the blue cards I think they were just notifications that the circle wouldn't be present to sell that day, though I didn't look closely enough to make it out. Do you know where a picture of one might be?

There were quite a number of 'blue carded' tables over all three days. They're definitely tightening up.
