In addition to the Pani Poni Dash trading figures we reported on earlier today, preorder pages are now up around the interwebs for Kotobukiya’s earlier scooped Shining Wind Xecty and To Heart 2 Another Days Chie, as well as a partial reissue of their earlier released Moetan trading figure set (this one augmented with several limited edition repaints). You might have noticed over the past couple of weeks that in addition to the “HD Recommends” section we’ve been adding a few affiliate links here and there around the site. Your perception is to be commended! This marks no change in our site philosophy; we’re still dedicated to spreading the gospel of our own personal geekdoms without discrimination (but with extreme prejudice, if that makes sense). The thought has been growing on us lately though that it just might be possible to translate this passion into more than just an obsessive hobby, and that’s where you come in: if you value what HD does, we’d be honored if you would consider buying through an affiliate when you make your purchasing decisions. We’ll continue to work as hard as possible to bring you the best content we can regardless of the outcome of this little experiment, but wouldn’t it be nice if it actually worked? A bunch of great figure news in this morning, mostly confirming earlier scoops: Goodsmile represents first with an official page for Max Factory’s December release Saber / Zero from Fate / Zero, then online shop Sorio with a preorder page for the October-release Toranoana swimsuit ver. Masane and Rihoko from Witchblade that we scooped a week or so ago; Kotobukiya rounds things off with official notice and promo material for their December release Pani Poni Dash trading figure set. First scooped by HD back in May, news comes today by way of Amazon that Tsukasa Jun-’s Megahouse Excellent Model Holstein Hanako-san PVC is up for preorder! No photographic evidence is available yet, but based on information from the earlier scoop and Amazon’s listing we know that she’s 1/8 scale (14 cm tall), will retail for 5,250 yen, and is set for release on November 25th. The preorder stalking begins… Update: Amazon has added photos of the figure to their listing, which now appear below:
