I can attest to the greatness of mousou shoujo otaku-kei and am shocked and surprised anyone else has heard of it... It took me a very large number of shops to find vol1 and I still haven't got vol2... I started reading it in comic high(the monthly), but having missed a whole bunch of volumes while outside of ye olde japan I have much to catch up on.

I'm tempted to buy Queen Bonjourno too, but the price of erogee is so horribly steep relative to my perceived value for them... I do feel I kind of owe it to GJ since I played through most of akibakei kanojo and shichinin no online...

Mousou Shoujou Otaku-kei sounds interesting- the first thing I thought of was a reverse-Densha Otoko.

>>Shingo
Re. Cafe with Cat- it would be interesting if you could do an interview with one or two of the employees... what is it like to work there, how does she feel about being a maid, etc. I think it might be interesting looking behind the life of a cosplay maid.

>>loplop
I'm wrapped up in Sengoku Rance right now, but Q-bon is probably next on the docket. I may not start it before you do, but I'll try to get a review of some sort up so we can compare notes... looking forward to it indeed. :3

>>Orbus
I'm nearly done with the second volume now and it's a really fun read. Genshiken probably isn't the best comparison, but it's within the same broad meta-otaku category - only a shoujo style romantic comedy. The characters aren't as realistic as Genshiken, but this frees them up for much sillier situation comedy... hilarious at times. I need to put up a few scans soon.

Oh, I've been patronizing Cafe With Cat regularly (three or four times now?) and intend to continue. If I get the chance to chat with the staff again so much the better... it's a learning experience, if nothing else.

>>octo
Himeya should have it: http://www.himeyashop.com/ though they're expensive... I don't know of any cheaper alternatives, though. Good luck with your search.

Wow, Mousou Shoujou Otaku-kei sounds interesting. Might we be looking at the next Genshiken or Welcome to the NHK here?

And good luck with the waitress, man. You *are* going back to see her again, right? ;)

I have a copy of G.J?’s Queen Bonjourno on it's way to me now, I'll be interested to hear what you think about after you have played it. I'm expecting big things from this game due to all the hype, after this is a G.J? title . . .
