Various news (anime, hobby, and ero) from the past few days, in convenient sound-bite (text-bite) form!

Today is Friday, September 29th, 2006. This means that:

• Queen’s Blade Menasu and Irina books are now on sale.
• [ERO] 34 (!!) new eroge are now on sale, including such heavy hitters as Baldr Bullet Revellion, Ayakashi H, and Pianissimo, not to mention Sexy Beach 3, Megachu!, SilveryWhite, CooL!!, Otaku Masshigura, Kamen no Goumonshi, and *cough* Mahou Shoujo Mana.
• [ERO] On the BL side, JAST USA has sent out a press release to the effect that their upcoming title Absolute Obedience (an English conversion of Zettai Fukujuu Meirei) has gone gold, and will be shipping soon.
• [ERO] The November edition of Milky Press is available for download.
• The official site for upcoming TV anime Venus Versus Virus is now online.
• The official Kekkaishi TV anime site is now fully open.
• The official My Otome Zwei OVA site is now online.
• Reservations are now open for the all-ages versions of Muv Luv and Muv Luv Alternative.
• Mahoromatic is getting a pair of reasonably priced R2 DVD box releases, with the first season out on December 22nd and the second in late February of 2007.
• [ERO] Demo movies now available for Le Chocolat’s Moe Ero Onii-chan [official site] and Ail Soft’s Ma wo Joutai Seshi Otome no Kuetsu [official site].

On the figure side of things (we still do figures here?):

• Bishoujo Figure Convention Tokyo is on for a second year! December 3rd is the date with which to emblazon your calendars. Hoping to make it there this time…
• November’s edition of Dengeki Hobby Magazine, on sale September 25th, comes with a partially finished Ringo figure from Air Gear included. You can either try to complete the paint job yourself, or leave her standing there looking rather naked. With clear hair.
• According to November’s edition of Hobby Japan, a Queen’s Blade Ekidona (Echidna) PVC figure is currently in production. I don’t have an image yet (opted to pick up Dengeki instead), but she’s in the same pose as the one pictured in her profile on the official site. :3
• The Shinki-net Journal gives some examples of what you can do to customize your Busou Shinki figures from the kits now available. This is a scoop I’d like to cover more thoroughly in the future, when time and money allow…

I’m currently in PANIC MODE approaching Sunshine Creation on Sunday, so without further ado it’s back to furiously scribbling in the vain hope that something decent comes out…
