The Kanon remake is a REMAKE. It\’s based on the game (like the Toei animation), but will be longer with (as we\’ve seen) better animation, which leads us to hope that story elements compressed or missing in the Toei version will be gvien more screen time in the KyoAni. Eva has already been remade. That would be the movies.
