Today brings us news of some rather lavishly appointed pieces of plastic, none of which is particularly safe for work (assume [ERO] for most of the items in this post):

  • First off, a tantalizing glimpse of what lies beneath the miko robes of Megahouse’s Koyori PVC from Sengoku Cannon.
  • From the “one of the many reasons why suffering a hideous accidental death before next February would really suck” division comes the news that this phenominal Mitsumasa Yoshizawa-sculpted, Yamashita Shunya-designed “Sera” garage kit is slated for a PVC release from Kotobukiya. Having stared at this item longingly for several minutes at Wonder Festival only to turn away with the knowledge that I could never do justice to the paint job, the news that someone in China will be employed to do it for me is cause for considerable excitement. Also cause for excitement. [Akibajin report of the publicity blitz] Note: this item is currently listed as only being available via mail order from the Kotobukiya store.
  • If you have access to Be-J’s Rakuten online shop, this may be your last chance to obtain items from their Yakin Byoutou garage kit series. This one is particularly of interest, but $130 USD worth of interest? …I’ll hope for a PVC.
  • The Moeyo! Akibajin Blog has a comprehensive review online of Hobby Japan’s Izumi PVC from He is My Master, which shipped a couple of days ago. Alternatively, you could look at it here.
