Anime Side

  • The first issue of Dengeki Maoh was released on October 27th, and MediaWorks has updated its official site to reflect that. There is also a promotional video for the magazine available if you scroll a bit further down, which upon viewing has confirmed my suspicion that it’s aiming to target everyone, their extended family, their pets, their friends, and their pets’ friends, and will appeal to precisely no one for that reason.
  • MediaWorks also has pages up for the December issue of GAO!, the fall issue of Teioh, and the batch of Dengeki manga tankoubon released in October.
  • Gainax has updated its Angel XX figure page with the Yoshizaki Mine concept art for Tabris and Lilith. In other 10th anniversary (read: gross commodification) news, a line of Eva sneakers is in production. At only three times the cost of a pair of Cons, they’re a steal!
  • Weekly Web Radio Roundup
  • [NOT ANIME] According to Famitsu.com, this winter will see the release of a version of Magna Carta ported to the PSP. We are again reminded that Hyung-Tae Kim is a greater diety of the character design universe.
  • [NOT ANIME] For those long grown tired of Yogurting, the open beta for Ragnarok TCG began yesterday. For those long grown tired of Internet Explorer, the game’s official site hates you. YOU. :(
