= ufotable official site renewal.- REC is a new anime coming from TBS, presumably this winter. It is based on this manga, and features a girl with glowing headphones.
- [NOT ANIME] The few. The proud. The not really a figure so why was she hanging out in the figure section, anyway? Err, webcomic update.
- [NOT ANIME] Starting on October 22nd is Akihabara Enta-Matsuri, which seems to be a coordinated promotional blitz for game / hobby / manga / anime retail outlets. It’s probably nothing special (whee! PS3 game demo videos!), but of greater immediate interest is this map, the best free online map of Akihabara’s current store layout I’ve ever seen. It’s partially in English, to boot. If and when I get around to doing a piece on Akiba this item will probably be included.
Ero Side
- Playing Catch-Up
- Ail’s Ragna Science
- MBS Truth’s Mome! Chichi Shimai Katei Kyoushi 11 [sample CG]
- Akabee Soft has a promo movie online for its upcoming release of Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo.
- Clockup releases version two of its Kuro no Utahime playable demo.
- Pine-soft has another Close Up! wallpaper available for download.
- This week’s Galkko feature is Lump of Sugar’s Nursery Rhyme. [sample CG] [official site]
- Tech Gian’s official site scoops the contents of its December issue, on sale tomorrow (October 21st).
- Galge.com scoops the 14 eroge titles on sale tomorrow, ramping up to the release explosion that will be next Friday the 28th. Among tomorrow’s titles: Milk Junky 3, Happiness!, Born Freaks, and Heaven Strada.
- From the catchup division, Shichinin no Online Gamers continued updating for awhile after the game was released, unbeknownst to me. Of particular note are the goodies available for download following the completion of the site’s two character popularity polls. I have to concur with the second of the two, in hindsight; Neev/Yuniko was the best character in the game, edging out Tetsuko/Renka by a hair.
- Silkys’ official site won’t have detailed information on their upcoming title Ai no Chikara online until tomorrow, but it seems Getchu.com has had sample CG and character info available for awhile now.
This week’s Galkko feature is number 123. A bit of spot checking reveals that there are in fact 122 titles still online that preceed it, dating back to the May 8th, 2003 edition. Time for a trip down memory lane…
