Still no sign of internet access, although as of two Wednesdays ago Yahoo promised six to ten workdays before restoration. The ten day mark is swiftly approaching and my faith in Yahoo is waning; if it comes to it I may need to look into an alternate service after all. Probably Flets. If that’s the case it’ll be ANOTHER week or two before I’m back online at home.

Sigh.

The only potential upside to this mess is that in the time I haven’t spent staring despondently at the computer screen willing the internet to magically reactivate I’ve been working on a couple of projects that should make their way here sooner or later. Heisei Democracy, you are not abandoned, merely… abandoned. But not for long.

[EDIT]

The power of reverse psychology seems to have worked, as I got home this afternoon to find my connection up and fully functional. Presuming it stays that way (and I’ll be doing my best to make damn well sure it does) we should be full steam ahead from here on out.

It’s good to be back.
